About the photographer
Serenity has been engaged in photography as art for over 7 years. She obtained a degree in International Relations with a minor in Asian Studies in 2005, which also included a strong background in art. This combination of disciplines nurtures a curiousity and enthusiasm for cultural exploration, documented through the lens of her camera.
Her artistic journeys around the world encourage personal reflection on humankind and its colorful palette of daily life on a dynamic Earth.
After teaching English in a rural town in southern Japan, and a short mission to Afghanistan with the United Nations Development Fund for Women, Serenity is currently working in the field of education and development. She lives in Mumbai, India with her husband.
